Stalking the Red Deer Stag is an enduring challenge even for the most experienced hunters with the Stags many females adding to the difficulty. Red Stags can be found on a variety of terrain from farmland to high mountain tops.

Thanks to good deer management and improved habitation the quality of Fallow Deer trophies have greatly improved over the past two seasons in Ireland. Fallow bucks can be found defending their rutting stands during their rut which lasts from early October to late November. They can be heard calling from their rutting stands which they territorially defend every year.
